$110/hr2-person crew · 2 hr min
Las Vegas works around the clock, and a fair number of the independent crews on this marketplace keep hours that match. This page lists companies covering the valley whose saved weekly schedule reaches past 8 PM on at least one day — so an after-hours load-out, a midnight unload, or a pre-dawn start is a window you can actually request instead of a favor you have to negotiate.
Hire Moving Labor is a marketplace for independent moving companies, not a moving company itself, and the help here is labor-only: you provide the truck, trailer, or portable container and the crew provides the movers and their hand tools. Nothing on this page is an emergency line or an on-demand dispatch. What each company is genuinely open for is decided by its own saved schedule and its acceptance of your request.

When you book, you choose a service date and a two-hour arrival window. Anything starting at 8 PM or later, and anything starting before 6 AM, is treated as after-hours: 8–10 PM, 10 PM–12 AM, 12–2 AM, 2–4 AM, and 4–6 AM. A 6–8 PM window is a normal evening job and a 6–8 AM window is a normal morning one.
Those late windows carry a flat $100 Late Night / After Hours Fee on top of the crew's hourly labor, whenever the window starts at or after 8 PM or before 6 AM. It is itemized in the price breakdown before you authorize payment.
The marketplace only offers you companies whose saved hours cover the window you picked, so a crew that works Friday and Saturday nights will not surface for a 2 AM Tuesday request.
An 8 PM or 10 PM start in Las Vegas only needs a company whose saved weekly hours run past 8 PM on your day. That is the bar this page uses, and it is the wider of the two.
A 12 AM, 2 AM, or pre-dawn start is different: it needs a company whose saved schedule actually covers that hour of that weekday. Companies whose saved hours span a full, gapless 24 hours on two or more weekdays are listed separately on the Las Vegas 24-hour movers page, and that is the better starting point for an after-midnight window.
Either way the check is the same one the booking flow runs: your exact date and two-hour arrival window against each company's saved hours and daily job limits, followed by that independent company accepting or declining your request. Nothing here is an emergency line or on-demand dispatch.
Shift work is the biggest reason. Casino, hospitality, warehouse, and hospital schedules rarely free up a weekday afternoon, and a 10 PM start may be the only usable block in the week.
Lease and dock deadlines are the second. A move-out cutoff at midnight, a rental truck already sitting in the lot, and a full apartment is a classic after-hours loading job — an hourly crew turns an all-night solo effort into a couple of hours.
Heat is the third, and it is specific to Las Vegas. Summer afternoons make a driveway brutal for both the people carrying furniture and the furniture itself, so a 4 or 5 AM load is genuinely easier work and gets you onto I-15 before traffic builds.
The work is identical to daytime work: carrying, loading, unloading, stacking a truck or container, moving items within a home, and disassembly or reassembly when the company lists it. Transportation and rented equipment stay on you unless a specific company says in writing that it supplies more.
Building rules are the real constraint after dark, not the crew. High-rise and mid-rise properties along the Strip corridor, Downtown, and in the newer Summerlin and southwest complexes usually limit elevator and loading-dock access to posted hours and may require a reserved freight elevator. Confirm your property's rules before booking a window it will not allow.
Sending a request is not a confirmed job. The independent company you select accepts or declines, and only its acceptance locks in the date and window. Your card is authorized when you submit and charged only on acceptance.
Each listing shows the hourly rate for the crew size you select, that company's minimum hours, and the services it actually offers. There is no platform-set rate.
Read the minimum hours carefully for an overnight start: a two-hour minimum behaves differently at 1 AM than at noon, because you often cannot extend a job past a building's 6 AM dock closing.
It is also worth checking whether one company covers everything you need. Several Las Vegas crews list packing and unpacking alongside loading and unloading, which means one booking instead of two on a tight night schedule.
The rental truck is in the lot and the lease is up at midnight. A crew that works nights loads and straps it before the deadline.
You drove in and pulled up at 11 PM. A night crew unloads so you are not sleeping in a full truck.
Load at 4 or 5 AM, skip the valley heat and the morning traffic, and be on the road by breakfast.
When the only free block is after a night shift, an after-hours arrival window is the one that fits.
