Moving Help Near You, Compared Side by Side
Moving help is for people who have the transportation sorted and need strong hands for part or all of the day. Compare local independent crews and their posted prices, then send a request to the one that suits your budget and schedule.

Compare companies near you →When hiring help makes sense
Friends cancel, stairs are steeper than you remembered, or the couch simply won't fit through the door without two people who have done it before. A paid crew is useful whenever the lifting is the hard part and you still want to control the truck, the route and the timing.
What to tell the crew up front
A good request saves time on the day and keeps the estimate honest:
- Both addresses, if the crew is helping at each end.
- Number of flights of stairs and whether there is an elevator.
- Large or awkward items such as sectionals, safes or a piano.
- Whether boxes are packed and sealed before arrival.
- Where the truck or container will be parked.
Comparing prices fairly
Look at the crew size you need, then compare each company's minimum labor amount for that crew — the hourly rate times its minimum hours. That figure tells you more about the real starting cost than the hourly rate alone.
